Product Update 29th Jan'26
📥 Bulk Upload Offline Orders in Ignite
Not every order comes through an integrated channel. Some clients fulfill on channels that are not integrated into Ignite, or they prefer not to connect their store. To support these workflows, we first introduced single manual order creation directly inside Ignite, so teams can stop tracking offline fulfillment in spreadsheets.
This month, we expanded it with a bulk upload flow, so you can import hundreds of manual orders at once using a template file. The upload includes strong validations and clear error feedback, so issues are caught upfront before orders hit the fulfillment floor.
📦➡️📮 Convert Inbound Orders to FBA Shipments
Inbound inventory often arrives already earmarked for Amazon FBA. Previously, teams had to do this in two steps: receive the inbound order first, then create the FBA shipment separately.
Ignite now lets you convert an inbound order into an FBA shipment immediately after receiving, so you can move straight from receiving to shipment creation without duplicating work.
Note: This option is available when the inbound order contains Amazon-only products.
🚚 New Shipping integration with competitive rates
This month, a big part of our product and engineering effort went into integrating a second shipping partner into Ignite. Until now, eHub has been the primary option for rate shopping on DTC orders and for selecting non-partner rates on Amazon shipments.
The new partner brings access to highly competitive rates across multiple carriers, which will help 3PLs consistently choose better options for both DTC shipments and Amazon non-partnered shipments.
We will announce the partnership shortly, and the functionality will go live in the first week of February.
🔴 Amazon is introducing API fees 🔴
Amazon has announced that third-party apps will now be charged for API usage. Until now these APIs were free, and this change is outside our control. Based on Amazon’s announcement, the monthly fee can scale with API call volume (and may include overage charges), which directly impacts the cost of offering Amazon integrations at the same pricing as before.
That said, we want to stay on the side of our customers and avoid passing this burden on wherever possible. So we are introducing a free path:
Free option (recommended): Use a private app
Starting next month, Ignite will support onboarding Amazon sellers via a private app flow. This keeps the integration free because API usage is tied to the seller’s own setup rather than a shared public app.Public app option: Additional fee starting March
If you prefer to continue using our existing public app, there will be an additional fee starting March to account for Amazon’s new API charges.
We will share the exact pricing details in the first week of February, along with a walkthrough video for onboarding sellers via the free private app option (recommended)
✨ UX Improvements & Bug Fixes
Fixed: Packing material dimensions unit mismatch
Packing material dimensions entered in centimeters were being saved and displayed as inches after saving, leading to incorrect stored values. This has been fixed to ensure cm and inch inputs are stored and shown correctly across both DTC and FBA workflows.
Improved: Box selection in the FBA flow
Packing material selection is now shown in a searchable, scrollable popover, making it much faster to find the right box even when the list is long.
Fixed: Shopify product status now updates in real time
Product status changes in Shopify were not reflecting via webhooks and only appeared after a manual sync. This is now fixed so Ignite stays in sync with the latest Shopify product status automatically.
