E-commerce platforms are software solutions that enable businesses to create and manage their online stores, such as Shopify and WooCommerce.
In the context of Hopstack Ignite, both serve the same purpose, that is as follows:
Fetching and syncing product information
Fetch and syncing information & statuses for orders
For some integrations, creating orders or shipment release notifications within Hopstack Ignite
We send and receive this information with these platforms typically through APIs or other programmatic methods. The usual behavior is that any changes made on Hopstack Ignite related to an order or a product, must reflect on the external system, and vice versa.
